Basic first-aid with a infant-child CPR overview. Ideal for daycare providers, babysitters and parents. Focuses on birth to 8 years old.

2. INFANT CHILD CPR. 3 hrs.

Focuses on airway, breathing and cardiac emergencies. Certificate included.

3. THE CHILD ONE DAY WORKSHOP 6 hrs.

Combines emergency first-aid for children and infant child CPR. Ideal for the daycare professional. 2 certificates.

CHILD EMERGENCY WORKSHOP (3 hrs)

We have offered this fun and focused workshop to expectant couples, new parents, babysitters, grandparents, teachers and daycare professionals for over 25 years. Link to Life™ was the first agency in Canada to design and conduct the Child Emergency Workshop.

This is not a lecture. We believe the only way to learn how to deal with a emergency is to practice before it happens. This totally hands on workshop prepares you to deal with the most common life threatening emergencies for children birth to 8 years old. Choking, Rescue Breathing/ CPR, Bleeding, Falls and Head injuries, seizures, prevention, It includes a fabulous reference book, emergency telephone label and card of attendance.

The program is offered both weeknight evenings or Saturday mornings depending on which hospital you choose. We donate a portion of each registration fee to the hospital.

We recommend you register early and bring a towel, pillow or blanket due to the floor work and hands on nature of the program. There is a short break half way through the workshop and an opportunity to ask questions at anytime.
